Canada mapping
Publicus statuses are meant to help federal teams, reviewers, and vendors move from package-level trust questions to deployment and procurement decisions in a Canadian context.
Status intent
- Allowed means no currently cited evidence blocks routine use in the intended category.
- Allowed with constraints means use is possible, but deployment and governance conditions matter.
- Under review means the evidence base is incomplete or moving.
- Blocked means there is an active reason not to ship or deploy.
What this should map to next
The next step is a machine-readable crosswalk between these statuses and concrete Canadian policy, security, and procurement instruments.
The first standards artifact is now live as a support crosswalk to NIST AI RMF 1.0. It should be read as a bridge from package-level registry decisions into broader governance language, not as a claim of full-system compliance.
